"I would not recommend this office. I’ve lived in multiple states and always had State Farm for home and car, but I’ve never encountered issues until switching to this office.
We had communication issues with them from the beginning…
Had to follow up multiple times with their office to get them to send the correct documents to our mortgage broker during closing.
During our home owners insurance renewal, we saw our premium increased by $200 with no reasoning why. We reached out via phone and email, and it took weeks to get a response. The agent, Dominque, got the original email we sent. She waited two days, then just forwarded it onto someone else in the office without even a quick follow up to us.
We requested to pay the bill for home owners because we had removed our escrow (but our mortgage company messed - not SF’s fault) but instead this office deleted our mortgagee off our policy. So when the mortgage company reached out about our policy, State Farm refused to speak with them. Our exact words were, “we are no longer escrowing” and they just changed the policy without confirming if we still had a mortgage or not…
We ended up paying insurance twice (due to both the office deleting our mortgagee off the policy and our mortgage company, so not just SF’s fault), but it has now taken A MONTH for this office to process the refund and update our policy to add back our mortgagee.
I will say, that once the lady in the office (NOT the agent, her communication has been awful) realized she made a mistake, she has been very responsive.
Overall a horrible horrible experience with this office that could have been remedied by the agent reaching out directly and being apologetic, but instead she sent a stock email with our names spelled wrong…
There are plenty of other State Farm offices, I would use literally any other one."
